After adjusting the valves they still make a taping niose.
it seems like a few of them but not all are making the noise. are there other parts in the valve train that are suspect to making this noiise?

Hi scottbuda,

Were the valves adjust at below 100 degrees F ( 38 degree C)?

Specifications are
Intake = 0.008 ""- 0.009" (0.20 - 0.24 mm)
Exhaust = 0.011 ""- 0.013" (0.28 - 0.32 mm)

Apart from the valve clearance, wear on the camshaft, rocker arms, adjusting screw and valve would cause the noise.
