How much should I expect to pay to a mechanic to replace a catalytic converter on my car. No warranty that covers it

Labor is 1 hour. If it is dealer part, expect to pay upward of $900. If you get it (aftermarket) from the muffler shop, expect to pay $400 - $500 for it. Or you can buy the cat yourself for $250 at an auto parts store, and find a muffler shop to install.
