Hello, I have a 2001 Honda Accord Sedan with a 3.0l V6. It has 65,000k miles on it. I'm trying to locate the cause of a stumble between 1500 and 2500 RPM. Once it gets past this range it's fine. I've taken it to the dealer and they can't find the problem.

No check engine light or anything else to alert me to a possible problem. I took it to the dealer about 6 months ago and they inspected a bunch of stuff but didn't replace anything. I'm pretty sure the plugs, wires, timing belt, water pump have not been replaced.

I would probably atrt wit plugs and wires. What you are describing sounds like it could be a low speed ignition misfire. Be sure to use the factory parts when tuning up your vehicle, cheaper parts are exctly that.

The problem turned out to be a bad EGR valve/sensor
