Car: HONDA ACCORD 2000 SE 135K
This one starts with a grinding stones noise when I start it after a long park like in the morning. The same noises go away while cruising. But they appear when I am over a hump, dip, speed breaker, driving uphill & braking or down hill & braking. Generally the noise levels on the road has increased I would say 5-10% from before. Got rear engine mounts changed but no help. Please suggest what could be it?

Hi zcastb,

If the noise appears only when vehicle is moving, it most probably is caused by a bad ball joint.

Try bumping the vehicle slightly and listening for the noise.
