I have to admit I have been lax. Over the years, all I have done is oil and filter changes at 3000 mi intervals, replaced brakes, replaced tires, and flushed flushed coolant once. The car is now about 8 years old. I drive in NJ but also Bronx NY (very rough/bumpy roads). My question is, what should I expect to have to do to hold onto this car, what should it cost, and is it worth it vs. Replacing it.

thank you

Hi there,

I would have the steering, suspension & exhaust inspected. If the body is still in good order, you may just have to do a bit of catch up maintenance to keep it safe and reliable, get the car checked over before you decide what you want to do.
