about a month ago, i noticed while i warming up my car, as long as i have my car in park, it sounds like there are doves or pigeons 'cooing' ....??? i didn't really think much of it, especially because it stops when i switch gears.

and todaayyy, i noticed a 'burnt rubber' smell when i parked. i'm a girl, and completely auto illiterate, so any suggestions would be great, since the nearest honda repair place is an hour away.

thank you so much.

I would suggest that you look at the engine and check the belts for burning, etc. I might let the engine get warm and then turn it off and if the smell returns try to nail down where it is coming from. I would suspect a belt. Worn, loose is my guess. Check the auto tranny fluid level.
