Thank you for considering my question.

I have a 2000 Honda Accord that starts up great when cold, but occasionally, on a warm start, the engine will catch for a second, then die if I don't give it gas consistently. I've been told it may have to do with the EGR valve, as well as the Idle Air Control Valve? Any ideas?

Thanks again!

Thank the lord there is someone else out there with the same problem. Short drives like to the corner mart...no problem. After freeway driving or long distance when engine is hot, if I turn it off for about say...five minutes or so it starts then immidiatly dies...unless like you said, you use the gas pedal to keep the ingine RPM's up to keep it running. PLEASE let me know if you find out a solution to your problem. I will do the same. Thanks a good luck!

my 03 buick regal 3.8 engine starts when cold, but when warm it always stalls. Getting worse, now 4-5 times stalling before it starts. Replaced air sensor at $350.00 but did not help at all. did you get yours fixed?
