My 1999 Honda Accord just had a tire alignment. I had this done because when I get the car over 60 MPH I can feel the steering wheel shake slightly and you can feel it a little in the passenger seat as well. I have a crack in the boot of my Left CV joint. This has been doing this about 8 months now. it has not gotten any worse. When I hit bumps I hear a clunck sound. I was wondering if that could be because the CV joint no longer has grease in it and that could be causing it? Thank You.

does it make a clicking sound when making hard turns in a parking lot? the vibration is most likely a wheel balancing problem, not alignment. try balance then get back to us

The car does not click at all when turning or anytime. Whenever I hit a bump I hear a light clunk sound. If it’s a light bump and light clunk. A hard bump a hard clunk.I have had the tires rotated and balanced about 3000 miles ago. The tires are about a year old but are pretty worn. Whenever I hit a bump though I get a clunk sound…

the alignment probably will fix the wearing problem. click noise over a bump sounds like its probably the sway bar end links. very common. again tires are probably the shaking.
