1999 Honda Accord over heating

ok, had a large crack in the upper radiator hose, replaced it and put more coolant in it, but it is still running hot by the temp gauge, what else could it be maybe thermostat, air bubbles, ???? Please help

You might have an air lock in there. Try properly bleeding the coolant first.

If it persists, check your thermostat, cooling fan, radiator, water pump and for any coolant leaks.
