Ok, here goes a long story made short as possable. I work at a car delaership and recentley took a 1999 Honda Accord EX 6cyl coupe in from a trade ($2k)
I ended up buying it myself because I liked it so much. The car stalls, I know about the ignition switch recall, had it raplaced under the recall, twice.
The car still stalls. IT idles really rough, the rpm's will jump and sink when im sitting. It mostly stutters out when Im sitting or slowing.. but it happens ALL THE TIME, so much in fact that I prefer taking public transit than driving.
One more thing it does once in a while, while Im on the highway my foot will be on the gas and the car will suddenley just stop acceleraiting. It wont be stalled out, it will just decelerate, and when it does this the rpm's wont go up either, if I slam the gas or keep my foot on the gas the car will lunge forward then almost always just die, a couple a times I hit the gas while this was happening and I saved it from stalling.. but it takes a while. So I guess... help?! Please?!

Hi Helpmyhondaaccord,

Seems the idling is poor causing the stalling.

Get the throttle body and IAC cleaned and idling speed readjusted and retest.

As to the lack of power, is the Check Engine Light indicating?
