My ABS light comes on at start up and stays on.

That means there is a fault in the abs system if you get me the code's in your abs computer I will be more then happy to help you out with that one.

Get the codes read, and if a sensor is faulty it will tell you which one. It is not uncommon for a sensor to get damaged and have to be replaced. FYI, the ABS system is disabled when it shows a fault, so you will have no ABS on ice or snow until it is fixed.
