1998 Honda Accord P1739 - 3rd Pressure Switch

Hi,
The Engine check light is enabled on my Car, the numbers are diagnosed as P1739 and P1457. I understand after diagnose that 3rd Clutch Pressure switch circuit and CVS gas Valve are not working and need to be changed.
I am a student and a layman and do not understand anything.
They are asking for $550 (223 for clutch+300 for gas valve+tax).
I will appreciate if someone can guid me please.

Hi dpasharma,

It does mean that when a code shows, the item in question must be bad. It could be due to bad wire connectors or contamination, etc. I would suggest you get a second opinion.

If you are into DIY, I can assist in guiding you on the diagnosis with some basic tools.
