1998 Honda Accord overheats

Engine Cooling problem
1998 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 174000 miles

Hi, I have a 1998 honda accord ex v6. the car runs fine and all, but an some hot days I turn on the air conditioner and the car eventually heats up. I'll turn it off and it goes back to normal operating temp.what do you think is wrong

Check the thermostat and also if the cooling fans are coming on.

I have replaced thermostat, and checked the cooling fans, both are working.

Could be airlock try bleeding it don't work get it block and pressure tested. Is it actually overheating or just the temperature gauge indication? No actual overheating could be the coolant temperature sensor or the engine temperature gauge switch out of calibration.

No no actual overheating just gauge indication

Could be the guage itself out of calibration, the coolant temperature sensor or the engine temperature gauge switch
