My accord is a automatic. Will not accelerate in D4, I have to shift down to D2 to start then go back to D4 to continue driving which work fine for awhile. Now the car won't accelerate in any gear. Had transmission flushed, all fluids checked. When the engine is running you can hear a loud ticking like the sound of valves knocking when oil is low. Only oil is about full.

Check and test the VSS and TPS sensors if okay -bring it in and have the transmission pressure tested.

It sound like transmission is bad. That's a very common problem with the 98 accord.
