1997 Honda Accord - 28,000 miles. City driving at 30-35 mph. Pulls left. Alignment done in Nov 2006. Mechanic had to replace front passenger side wheel bearing. Car doesn't pull left anymore, but now pulls right! Steering wheel shakes left to right.

Where do you live? What is the weather like? Any snow or ice or muddy conditions around you? Check the wheel rims to make sure they are clean, real clean on both sides. Build up of material on the rims can cause problems.

I'm in NJ. You are right, it's the rims. I learned that 3 of them aren't good. Must be years of driving in Jersey City - where pot holes and bumpy roads are very common. Anyway, I got me new rims and now I'm riding smoothly except that it's still pulling a little bit to the right although they said they already checked the alignment when I had the rims installed. What else could be wrong?
