1997 Honda Accord How do you repair brake calipers

Hi, i changed my brakes following your instructional video THANKS ALOT!!!! and I noticed that one of the pistons seals on one of the calipers is leaking.... I went to buy the kit to repair it, now I need to know how. Is it something I can do myself?

Hi evilutionix,

I guess the job is within your means but explaining how to do it would be more difficult.

You need to remove the caliper and get the piston out. If the piston is not seized, some knocking of the caliper onto a block of wood would get it out.

Install the dust seal over the piston and then into the grooves of the caliper before pushing the piston back in.
