1997 Honda Accord engine will not start

I have a 97 honda accord. While driving down road engine would stop. Could pull over and it would restart. Run fine for a while. Happened again but now will not restart. Put new fuel filter and fuel pump on. I am told at shop that coil, distributor, and timing belt is OK. They do not know what is wrong.
Please help.
