1997 Honda Accord card in spokes noise when I let off the g

I have a 97 Honda Accord LX. When I am driving down the road and I let off the the gas pedal I here a noise that sounds like a card in a bicycle spokes.

Any ideas what this could be?

Hi powellt,

Without knowing the type of noise and source, it would be impossible to diagnose or provide any information as to what might be causing the noise.

It would be best to get a physical inspection done to verify the source.

Off hand I can think of a few causes but they are completely different in nature.

1. Exhaust leakage.
2. CV shafts.
3. Engine emission related.
