when you let off gas, engine dies, even at high speeds-let off gas, car dies. this model doesnt have a choke, so my guess is fuel pump (pressure) or fuel filter stopped up. any other suggestions or possibilities would be appreciated.

thank you

I think you are headed down the right path. A pressure test for fuel pressure might be a good place to start. I have even seen a belt driven device such as the ac compressor drag the engine down enough to kill the engine before the computer can pick up the idle speed. Any extra noise in the engine compartment?

I doubt it, but it can happen, yet if it is not to blame I would pick it up at the fule pressure test.
