Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1996 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic 200000 miles

Hi Car Pros,

I recently was driving my Honda when the red oil light appeared. I went to add oil and noticed that oil was leaking from the right side of the motor near the timing belts. I took it in to get serviced. Apparently a seal near the timing belts had gone bad and now the timing belts needed to be replaced. I remember the mechanic saying he was able to service the part moving the engine slightly. After spending 660 to get a new timing kit, water pump replaced, seal and valve cover I got my car back from the mechanic.
It didn't lead oil, but I noticed immediately that it had a knocking noise when I turned right. It did not make any knocking noises when I took it in to get serviced and now was returned with a new noise. So As I returned to get it looked at thinking something might need to be tightened, they discovered that both axle cv joints are torn!!!
Wow, could this be something they did on their part by moving the engine? Is it possible that the mechanic might have not set the engine on the right place? I noticed one of the tires was off the car when I stopped by to see if the work was finished. I believe they wanted another 200 for one side. Now they say it's two. Any suggestions there, because I just poured all that I have into this ride an with the economy can't afford more money.

Thanks for you time to answer my question.
