The coolant was first found to be consumed out after every 200 miles, engine is hotter than before, but car is still running. No leak can be found by placing news paper under the engine. Thermostat is replaced by a new one (the old one was fine).
Then the investigation was narrowed down to left cooling fan which was found not working all the time, but it runs when it is directly connected to battery.
Please point out what went wrong and provide a picture.
Thank you very much.

Hi Ding,

There is a leakage somewhere and it is not fast enough to leak to the floor. You should get a ptressure test done to find the source of the leak,

Check the fuses under hood fuse box and condenser cooling fan relay.
