The clutch pedal on my sons car is not working properly. Is the pedal supposed to go all the way to the floor? Is there some adjustment we can do or does he need a new clutch? And how much can he expect to pay if he does need a new one? Thanks, sorry for so many questions.

That would be no to both of those questions. It uses a hydraulic pedal system and it likely has developed a leak in either the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder and now has air in the system. You will need to determine which one has the leak and replace it. Then bleed out the system.
