I put radiator fluid in the tank. Within a few minutes, the car overheats and smoke emerges under the hood of the car. The heater now doesnt work as well. I tried driving the car the next day, within 5 minutes of driving the car, the car overheats.

You need to find what is leaking in the cooling system. The heater core that provides the passenger compartment with heat is the first componenent to lose fluid meaning- no heat.

IF there is not enough coolant in the system it will not cool..thus the name "coolant". Either the coolant is leaking internal or external. Having said that when it overheats because of ...say...a bad thermostat....or leaking waterpump. The engine can develop a headgasket probalem as well.
