Hi, my cars' temperature usually get to the midway after driving it for a few miles, but starts to really get hot when it comes to a stop or when waiting at light. What could be causing this?
Thanks in advance

check to see that the fan shroud is in good shape and make sure the cooling fans are operating correctly, if they dont operate the vehicle will be fine when driving but overheat when stopping.

could even be a weak water pump.

Sounds like it may be your cooling fans not working. They usually have a relay that powers them.
