Our old Accord is having battery connection problems. Sometimes it won't start until I tap the battery cable clamps with a rubber mallet. I bought and installed new clamps and have cleaned both them and the posts with a wire brush even though they look spotless -- I also spray them with a battery terminal anti corrosion spray. I tighten the clamps enough that I can't twist them by hand. Despite all this, it still requires the occasional mallet tap on the go. Our battery is only 1.5 years old and it starts right up when connected. Advice?
