hi i have an honda accord aerodeck 1996 model when i was on the motorway the other day when i noticed a vibration from the front of the car and though the steering wheel although the wheel does'nt shake when accelerating when i took my foot off the gas it stopped also at low speeds it does'nt shake.

It sounds like you have a dynamic imbalance in your front wheels. Have the tires and rims inspected first, if they are fine, then balance the wheels.

Most likely a balance problem - could also be an alignment.
Alignments will usually just make the car pull to the side, but if its bad enough, I imagine it could create a wobble feeling.

ok thanxs i had the cv boots done for the mot last time but they told they had been splt for quite a long time and so could have got some grit in them, i have the car in the shop for an mot and have told them of the problem

Usually if the CV boot is ripped for a long time, I recommend replacing the cv joint or the full axle. It may very will be the axle. Hopefully not though, and it's just a wheel balance issue.
