The heat in my car takes forever to warm up, like over 30 minutes. Do you have any idea what it could be? I would just like to get an idea how much the repairs are going to be? The heat eventually kicks, but I have to get on the freeway, and go at high speed for it to really work.

You might have a thermostat that is stuck open. That would explain much of the trouble. In the open position the coolant is not allowed to warm to a set temp and then release. Instead it is always circulating and though it gets warm it does not get hot as it should.
