The Check engine light recently came on, on my 1995 Honda accord. I went to a mechanic and they indicated that the problem was the EGR valve. I replace the EGR valve, however the Check Engine light still comes on. I went to another mechanic and they indicated that the EGR valve is still the problem but it is connected to another part which may be the cause of the problem. The name of the part starts with an R but I can't remember the rest of it. I would like to find out what could be the problem and is it a serious problem that requires immediate attention. i would appreciate any assistance given.
