Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi there, My drivers side power window was kind of slow going up and down when i bought the car, but worked well. after about 3 weeks the window started going really slow and the motor was making noises as if it were struggling to move the window and then it would stop when trying to go up and down and the top of the window would come out of the grove when it was almost up. i replaced the motor and regulator and seemed to be ok but a little slow. it was good for about 5 weeks and started doing the same thing. i greased the tacks and it was ok for about a day and is still giving me problems. could it still be the motor bc i heard that they rebuild them or is it something else. thank you for any help in advance.

Hi ludikris,

The source of your problem is the door glass run channels. Spray some silicone or wax based lubricants onto the contact area of the glass and it should work well but is only a short term solution. You need to replace the run channel as the rubber has hardened over time.
