How do you disconnect the axle from transmission? I have the new axle,and I see there is a c clip on the side that enters the transmission,but how do you release the old one from the transmission?How do you get to the c clip on the old axle?You know (get it out)......I have everything apart already,just can't release the axle from the transmission....Thanks

Take large pry bar place between transaxle and axle CV joint pry with firm push ie. popit hard axle will come out. You have to compress the cllip. Some force will be needed to install. Grab axle use the free play in joint to hammer new in.
Whlie you are there good time to replace the oil seal
