How do you check the fluid in this manual transmission?If it needs fluid,where does it go?

The drain and fill plugs are under the car. To check the fluid, remove the fill plug that is located behind where the passenger side axle plugs into the trans, should be a 17mm head on the plug.With car level, remove plug, fluid level should be at the bottom of the hole, if not top off with SAE 10w-30 or 10w-40 motor oil with a rating of SF or SG
