1993 Honda Accord-no gauges

I have a 1993 Honda Accord and all of a sudden no gauges on the dash work-no speedometer,tachometer,fuel,temp.Any suggestions you could provide would be gratly appreciated.Thank-you.

Check all fuses especially the gauge fuse. Inside the car.

Gauge fuse was blown.Replaced it & a couple minutes later it blew again?Any more suggestions?

It sounds like one of the components in the cluster assy has a short. It is made of a flexable printed circuit board and very hard to find the problem. I have repaired them but that is my expertise. You need to get a used one and try it. A good look see first and see if you spot and carbon tracks before you buy one. Have you installed an after market radio?.

No I haven't installed any radio or anything.It just all of a sudden happened.Is this common with these cars?Also,what would be a good guesstimate to replace the cluster?

They are from $50-75 at a salvage yard. They are easy to replace by removing a few pieces of plastic.

Do I have to remove the whole dash & everything to get at the cluster assy or should I have a mechanic do it?Thank-you again for all of your help.

No, just look for the screws around the area of the cluster. Remove the plastic around the clucter to gain access. Some have clips, it's an easy job.
