The engine won't turn over. It wants to but doesn't seem to get that spark to fire the engine. Once I put jumper cables on it it turns right over and runs great. I've had the battery, plugs, alternator, and battery cables checked and been told they're ok.
Someone suggested it could be the cam sensor.
The check engine light does not come on at all.
It's like the jump is sending additional power to the engine and overriding what ever is causing it not to start.

When you say it won't turn over, do you mean it will not rotate or it will not start?

The fact that it will start with a jump, indicates a weak battery, loose battery connection.

Most autoparts stores will test charging system for free, battery AMPS, starter draw and alternator output. Try that first. Let us know the results.

It won't start. I've had those items you mentioned tested and was told everything is ok.
It happens randomly. It'll start fine for three days and then when I try to start it after work say, it won't start without the jump.
Once the jumper cables are on the battery and I turn the ignition the car fires right up.
