1993 Honda Accord Car Stutters

I have a 93 honda acord and lately while driving the car starts to stutter and lose power while accelerating or going up a hill. The rpm gauge also jumps up and down while at steady speed. i recently just purchased new spark plugs, dist. cap, igntion coil...

Erratic tachometer indicats a fault with the distributor, most common being the ignition coil. Recheck the ignition coil installation and wire connections.

Recheck the ground circuit at the thermostat housing. Disconnect the ground connection, clean, retighten and retest.
