WHILE DRIVING CAR SPUTTERED AND CUT OFF, HAD CAR TOWED HOME NEXT DAY CAR STARTED WITH NO PROBLEM. HAS DONE THIS BEFORE, HAD MAIN RELAY AND IGNITION SWITCH REPLACED. WHAT NEXT?

When the engine stalled, you need to check if it is fuel or ignition system that is causing the problem.

Test the fuel pressure and ignition sparks. A failing ignition coil can run well when cold but would cut off and not allow you to start. Check if the sparks are bright blue or dull orange.

Some fuel pumps would fail after running for extended periods but stops intermittently.
