I recently bought a 1992 Honda accord that had been parked for months. The previous owner told me that the battery had to be continually replaced. I towed the car home, recharged the battery, and it started up fine. I'm testing over a few days to determine if the battery will die out.

My main 2 issue are: The D4 light stays on, indicating a transmission issue? It seems to stay in 3rd or 4th gear when pulling out, unless i shift down to first.

The brakes. The ABS light will come on after driving a short distance. The brakes feel really, really spongy, and i can hear a scraping metal sound.
