I am a Nigerian and I have a Honda Accord 1992 Model (Injector). It is a used car. The acceleration is okay as there isn't any delay in picking up. The engine sound is also okay. But the problem is that for some reason, the car consumes way too much fuel. I thought Honda cars were fuel efficient? This problem has been on for a while (infact since I got the car early this year-2007 ) and nobody seems to know what the problem is. I happen to love the car so much and would not want to part with it. Could you please help out?

sounds to me like it is time for your car to have a tune up. change the fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, fresh gas with some engine cleaner, change the air filter and pcv valve and filter.
