1992 Honda Accord car want's too take off.

I have two problems, first I have to keep jump starting my car, second my rpm's idle's I thinkwas at 500,1000 rpm's now it's up too 2000/3000 rpm's help what can I do?

1. Jump starts-could be the alternator or a short within the electrical system.

2. Could be vacuum leaks, idle air control valve/motor and throttle position sensor.

I don't have the money to pay to get it fix I have to do all myself, my problem now is the lock cylinder I took all APART down to the lock cylinder using the, Haynes repair manual. The ignition key will not turn to the"l" position.I can"t get the cylinder out what can I do. I do think you all very much! Keith

Hi Keith,

Did you shift the trans to P?
Try disconnecting the battery terminals to see if the key can be turned.
