i have two problems,first i have to keep jump starting my car,second my rpm's idle's i thinkwas at 500,1000 rpm's now it's up too 2000/3000 rpm's help what can i do?

1. Jump starts-could be the alternator or a short within the electrical system.

2. Could be vacuum leaks, idle air control valve/motor and throttle position sensor.

i don't have the money to pay to get it fix i have to do all myself,my problem now is the lock cylinder i took all APART down to the lock cylinder using the,Haynes repair manual.the ignition key will not turn to the"l" position.i can"t get the cylinder out what can i do. i do think you all very much! Keith

Hi Keith,

Did you shift the trans to P ?
Try disconnecting the battery terminals to see if the key can be turned.
