1992 Honda Accord

My gas and temperature gauge not working.
The gas gauge needle is indicating a full tank of
gas and the temp needle goes straight up to
the red zone when I turn the key on to the "ON"
position. I've done some troubleshooting and wondering if maybe I failed to reconnect something.
I ve checked the fuses and tried to retrace the wires
that I may have fooled with. Nothing seems to be
wrong. I did replace the backup light switch mounted
on the transmission successfully and I have backup
lights now. And may I add, that I pulled out the
instrument cluster to make sure there wasn't something there that was causing my dash light to
be out. In any case, I successfully restored my dash
lights. At this point, I lack reinstalling my radio and
connecting my cigarette lighter back up. So, can
someone tell me why my gas and temp gauge seem
to be out of whack! Need help!
