When I start car, D4 shift indicator is not shown on the dashboard ( the others P, R, D3, 1,2 are OK)and S light comes on and off after a while. Pedometer indicater also sometime works, sometime not.
But my car works as usual.
What is the problem and can I solve it?

Best regards,

Davidson

Hi Davidson,

The Vehicle Speed Sensor or its circuit is faulty resulting in the erratic speedometer and D4 light blinking.

Replacing the VSS should solve the problem.
