I am just taking a shot here. If it is broken on both sides, you would need e new CV axle, or sometimes it is called half-shaft. This piece comes out from the transaxle all the way to the wheel.
The part that is in the middle of the tire where the CV boot goes through is called hub bearing assembly, although I don't think that is what you want.
