what is a typical cost of repairs to cv joints?

well one thing I can say is, that it will mostlikely cost you less, to buy and install a whole half shaft with the cv joints in it than it will to fix the or install just cv joints, there is so much involved in doing just the cv joints, that it is more feesible to just replace the whole half shaft, go figure

At our shop, we would charge you 3.0 hours labor and aftermarket axles would probably run you ~$300 for both. It would be cheaper to replace axles, than rebuild them. The labor would outprice the axles.
