Battery is old and started having slower crank. Last few days barely started in morning & idiot light on. After engine running a while, light would go off. Yesterday almost didn't start. While driving to charge battery, and buy new one, light did not go off and then speedometer and tac needles jumped and went dead. Car still running. Went home, shut off and would not restart. Just a click. Replaced battery and wire connectors. Now starts right up. Speedometer and tac fine, but battery light staying on. What happened?
