Hey 2carpros. Since the cold weather started my transmission has taken longer to enage into drive and reverse. Today I pulled over and put it into park. When I put it back into drive it wouldnt engage at all. I let it roll down the hill and reversed into a parking lot. Tonight I started it again and it engaged into reverse and drtive but it took about 2 seconds. It wouldnt shift out of first, and after about a minute it was barely engaging, only at about 3000 rpm's, and eventually wouldn't engage at all again. It doesnt make any funny noises, the fluid is red and smells fine and is at the perfect level. Please help me! I'm a poor college kid and would love your help before I send it out for costly repairs, or just scrap it if its not worth it.
Thanks.
Nick

I would think its an internal tranny problem and need to check tranny fluid pressure
require special tool to do so
you may have to have it checked by your local tranny shop
