1990 Honda Accord my car runs great but.

When I turn on my car, it starts making that sound you would hear when you hit the gas while the car is on park. The problem is, im not. It does this for about 3 minutes and then it stops, my car does drive perfect it seems, but why is it doing this?

Hi yanga84,

What you are describing should be the idling speed is high when starting.

That is normal. Engines are designed to increase in idling rpm when cold and after warming up, the idling speed would drop.
