1990 Honda Accord Front Wheel Drive Automatic

OK. I AM WRITING THIS MESSAGE SO ONE OF YOU FELLOWS CAN HELP ME. I HAVE 1990 ACCORD 180000 MILES. COUPLE OF DAYS AGO WHEN I WAS DRIVING BACK HOME FROM WORK I WAS LOW ON GAS SO PULL INTO A GAS STATION TO FILL UP. MY CAR WAS RUNNING FINE BUT NEXT MORNING WHEN I STARTED THE CAR HESITATED BUT IT DID STARTED BUT WHEN I PUSH THE GAS PADDLE THE RPM WENT DOWN AND THEN THE CAR DIED. I CRANK IT AND IT STARTED AGAIN BUT SAME THING HAPPEN. I THINK IT COULD BE FUEL FILTER OR IT CAN ALSO BE IGNITION COIL OR DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR. IT IS WORTH MENTIONING HERE THAT TWO WEEKS AGO I CHANGE THE TIMING BELT ON MY CAR AND THE IDLE WAS ERRATIC. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU CAN ADVICE ME HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM

The idle was erratic when you changed the timing belt because you mixed up the timing marks and your cam timing or balance shaft (if equipped) is off.

Test for spark and fuel. You might be missing one of these items.
