Hello, I have a strange problem.
While I drive across the city (speed under 40 miles, frequently stops etc.) my air condition works perfectly (sometime it could take a minute or two while it starts but then it is OK).
As soon as I step on highway problems starts.
More often it stops works at all. It doesn't make differences if you go uphill or downhill. It doesn't work even if you put your car on neutral when you are oing downhill.
As far as you stop it start to work again.
If the trip is long enough (more then 2 hours) it could start work even in high speed but not so efficient (the air is not so cold as when you driving in city).
What is the problem and how to resolve it?

Hi Aries,

Sounds like the blower motor is on its way to retirement.

When the blower stops working, give it some knocks on the housing and if it works, replace the motor.

check if your a/c compressor is cutting in and out frequently at idle if yes try to isolate that may be a blockage in the evaporator or expansion valve needs cleaning/replacement
