Engine Mechanical problem
1988 Honda Accord

Last night the car started to throw out white smoke from under the hood and now it wont start. I tried putting water in it to see if maybe it just didn't have water but when i turn the car on i noticed that all the water dripped right out from underneath. so now it wont restart and all the water keeps dripping out, so my question is why does the water keep dripping out? And why wont it start up again?

Hi sc.garcia17,

There must be a leak in the cooling system and the loss of coolant had resulted in the engine overheating and damaging the head gasket.

The engine is not going to start untill the head gaskets are replaced or engine rebuilt.
