1986 Honda Accord Front Wheel Drive Manual 202000 miles

I finally got my Accord running, it was the starter selenoid, replaced the starter and with a little carborator cleaner as starter fluid fired up.

Now, runs very smooth, idles just under the 2 on the rpm gauge steady.

This car had sat for 2 years, what recommendations can you make.I.E. Oil change, plugs.

Anything that you can think I should look into replacing due to sitting so long. Also since there are so many miles on it is there a really really good oil I should use instead of just plain 10-30?

Now that its running anything I should look for or check on. Tks

Hi there,

It would be a good idea to change all the fluids, coolant engine trans and brakes. Yous the oil you have been using that should be fine. It would also be a good idea to drain the fuel as it will be stale, and change the filters as well.

Uhh, you could probably just change the oil three quarts and a quart of mystery oil to keep it good. Um, go ahead and do plugs and wires.
