You asked me to answer a few questions about my problem. Here are the answers.

PIC #1

Valve has 3 hoses

Pic of valve is circled in yellow
One hose is coming from the side (blue arrow) #20 side hose.
Second hose is coming from bottom (red arrow) #20 bottom hose.
There is a third hose attached to the side hose by a connector. The third hose comes from the bottom of the component right next to the valve (green arrow & green circle) #20 hose. There is nothing else connected to that component.

2 hoses #20 come from side and bottom of the control unit (if the control unit is the valve the answer is yes)

Is there one terminal? Yes, connection is coming from valve (circled in yellow), connection is (circled in Lt blue).

Colors of wires; solid black with red dots and red with blue.

Yes, the engine will run with it unplugged.

PIC #2

The side hose ( blue square) on the valve is hooked up to here near the carburator (blue arrow).

The bottom hose (red arrow) is hooked up to this pipe on the opposite side of where the arrow is.

You said to check the black/white wire with ignition off. I checked the ignition switch with it in the off position like you said. The only wires that were hot are listed below. Solid black with white stripe was not hot. But I do have 2 wires that were hot. 1 is solid white and a solid white wire with a black stripe that was hot.
Is the solid white with black stripe the one you meant?

Solid black with white stripe: not hot

Solid white: hot
